El Cantarito in Gallatin

This place was a breath of fresh air compared to the other local Mexican restaurants. Nicely renovated with a cool lit up bar. Food was fresh and well presented. Server was courteous and polite.

Fast, friendly service... great food... affordable prices... lunch, in and out under 30 mins :-)

The food was great and came out quickly. The service was awesome, they were all super nice. The place was really cool on the inside and they had cool glassware.

Great food. Service was okay. The location is very convenient if you come from Hendersonville. Prices are not very expensive. Two people can eat for $12.00.

This little gem is off the beaten path, but easy to find once you know it's there. It was deceptively spacious with an outdoor dining area. The space was accommodating and fairly roomy.Our waiter was quick with service and the food arrived promptly. Drinks came in large hand-blown urns that held at least 20 ounces, and probably more.Our food was very good. I got my standard new-Mexican-place meal of a taco salad, and couldn't finish it. It had quite a bit of meat in it!Negatives: from somewhere there was a drift of cigarette smoke, possibly from someone with a vape. And the chairs were difficult to move.

Food was amazing! Staff was very nice as well. Great place for the family.

Good food and good service

Great menu. Not just your standard tacos, enchiladas, and burritos. I had a pineapple dish and it was very tasty. Drinks are HUGE...even the water glasses look like plant vases.

Two days in a row and the food and service was great! The cheese dip is awesome. They ha e some unique beverage glasses that make the atmosphere pop!

This is the best Mexican food Ive had since being in TN. And we've tried almost all of the Mexican restraunts in Gallatin. If you're craving good Mexican food thats actually seasoned and not bland and boring, I would recommend giving this place a shot. Very good!!

Tucked away in a strip mall, you walk through the doors and it’s an experience. Loved the decor and the booth we sat in. Chips were fantastic. Our server was prompt and very Friendly. All the food we had was top notch and came to us quickly. The only thing off was the margarita was unusual and green, not the best. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area

Service was speedy as always. Food was excellent as usual. Overall this is a really good place to get singer really good Mexican food.

I’ve eaten at a LOT of Mexican/Hispanic restaurants in many different states, and this one is by far my favorite. Food is always great, service is always fast and excellent. Their flan is fantastic.

One of the tastiest Mexican places in Middle Tennessee and the inside is immaculate. Highly recommend if in the area.

We have been going to Lost Cantaritos since they opened and have always enjoyed their food. One of our go to favorites is the mixed fajitas for two. We have supported them during the Covid shutdown. Today at lunch we ordered the mixed fajitas for two for takeout. We picked it up 15 minutes after ordering. When we got home we discovered that the beans and rice were stone cold as in refrigerated cold. They hadn't even attempted to warm them. The fajitas were room temperature. Very disappointed! If this is the type of service they are going to give their customers they won't be in business much longer.

The food is good. The drinks are served in a entra large vase (cute concept) One vase is enough for two adults or one adult and two or three children

I think we have found our new favorite Mexican restaurant in Gallatin.The food was absolutely delicious. It came out hot and fresh and everything had a very good flavor. The cheese dip and guacamole were really good, and those are some of my weaknesses (lol) so I'm really picky about them and they were great. Would definitely eat here again. Highly recommend this place.

The water glass, or should it be called a vase 😀, and beer mug were visual pluses during a delicious meal served promptly.

Located at the corner of a very unassuming strip plaza across the street from Vol State Community College, Los Cantaritos has a very inviting atmosphere, tho we were seated in an alcove by the door so my view was of three walls. Interesting vase-type vessels for beverages, mine was chipped so I had to use a straw. We ordered an assortment of items to try and enjoyed almost everything. Didn't care for the taste of the corn tortilla of the enchilada but the meats were perfectly seasoned and very flavorful. I especially liked the Steak Chimichanga :) We're looking forward to a return visit.

This is honestly the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. Everything was so fresh tons of flavor and great quality. It was busy lunch rush and service was still great! I live in Lebanon and even though there are plenty of Mexican restaurants near me I will drive the 30 minutes to come here.
